Cicada was made to aid the hearing impaired when it comes to catching their buses. Something that happens often that we do not notice is that the hearing impaired simply miss their buses because they don't hear their buses coming, and fail to flag them down. Upon user testing, we found out the app could be useful for people who are distracted by their phones and music at the bus stop.
The app was designed to be simple to use, with mostly one-tap actions to toggle functions.
Cicada is also smartwatch-compatible, and would help in notifying users through vibration and make toggling functions more convenient.
